In-Store Pickup / Ship-to-Me
Your pickup store is the Sound Exchange location where you will pick up the items you reserve on this site.
You may now also choose to have items shipped directly to your home. Please note that not all items are available to be shipped.
When reserving from this website, it is important you realize you are still shopping in a retail store (with the help of our staff). This means sometimes we will not be able to find an item that you reserve. Just like when you are in the store shopping yourself, an item may be misplaced or in the hands of other customers. You should expect that we’ll find everything most every time.
Ship to Me
Sound Exchange is now offering shipping service directly to your home. We charge a flat $7 shipping fee, with free shipping for orders over $75. Shipping is by USPS Media Mail, and we will provide you with a tracking number.
Not all items are available for Ship to Me service. For example, vintage stereo equipment is available only for in-store purchase.

At Sound Exchange, we do our best to locate all items you order. That said, we are a bricks-and-mortar business with customers coming through our stores seven days a week, and occasionally we will not be able to locate an item that you reserve. Just like when you are in a store shopping yourself, an item may be misplaced or already in the hands of another customer. If you have already paid for the order using Ship to Me, we will refund the price of any item we can not locate.
We are located in the north end of Tampa, on Nebraska Ave between Fletcher Ave and Bearss Ave.

You can place special orders for new (not used) CDs, vinyl, DVDs, and Blu-Rays. Title availability is subject to our distributors' current stock. You will be advised if the item's arrival is delayed, and we'll notify you when it arrives at the store.

You will have four days to respond to the email indicating that you want us to hold it for you, before we put it out for general sale.

On our web site, you can view, search, and reserve inventory. To begin, select pickup at our Tampa store or Ship-to-you. Making the selection will direct your searches to that method. Note that some items may not be available for shipping.
