Search<\/h4>\n

You can type an artist, title, format, and\/or UPC number into the\u00a0 search box at the top of any page on the web site. For example, typing in “Beatles” will potentially bring up CDs, DVDs Blu-Rays, vinyl, and more. Typing in “Beatles DVD” will limit your results to just those items where “Beatles” is in the artist or title field and which includes a DVD.<\/p>\n

You can filter your search results by Store (your chosen pick-up location vs. all stores), New vs. Used, Format (example: CD), and Genre (example: Blues). You can also select New Arrivals or Pending Arrivals (used items that will be available for sale within two weeks).<\/p>\n

If you leave the search page to do something else on the site, you can simply click the “Return to Last Search” link on the Search page to bring up your last search result.<\/p>\n

Available for Special Order<\/h4>\n

These are\u00a0all the items that can be ordered new by Sound Exchange.\u00a0They will automatically appear in the Available for Special Order section of the results page whenever “Both\u00a0Stores +\u00a0Special Order” is selected from in Pick-up Store dropdown.<\/p>\n

Notify Me<\/h4>\n

When you add an item to your “Notify Me” list, our system will send you an email when, at some point in the future, we purchase that item in one of our stores. This feature lets you\u00a0be the first to know that a\u00a0hard-to-find piece will be available soon.\u00a0 This does not reserve the item for you; it only notifies you that it will be available for reservation \/ purchase.<\/p>\n

The “Notify Me” section of the results page appears whenever “Both Stores + Special Order” is selected in the Pick-up Store dropdown.<\/p>\n
